1995 Tree

This picture shows a little better the burgundy tree we had the first year we lived here. It also shows the bay window we have in the living room. That window was a beautiful place to display a tree until we encountered the dog that couldn't stay out of the window. After I gave up on putting the big tree in the living room, I decided to put my Christmas village in the window. After a couple of broken village pieces, I gave up. Last year I bought a silver four and one half foot tall tree that I wire to to top of the window so she cannot knock it over. It is also small enough that she can still lay in the window and hold court over all the cats in the neighborhood. She doesn't like them in her territory. It still is the neatest place in the house to put a tree.
